A purely accidental shot of a sunflower backlit with a harsh in-built flash. Turned out to be one of my favorites.
Big sun flowers perched atop high stalks always seemed more than mere plants to me. They seem to have a presence beyond plants. The have personalities that shout “look at me ! I rule the garden”
This particular one was drawn and quartered No fields of sunflowers where I am- I only see them on the tube.
