La Pedrera

Also known as Casa Milà, Antoni Gaudí’s La Pedrera is a perennial evergreen among tourists in Barcelona. It was designed to be a block of apartments, and is noted for architectural patterns adapted from natural elements. Interestingly, the stretch of Passeig de Gràcia that La Pedrera sits on also boasts interesting lamp posts that form unique counterpoints to the curvaceous building.

  1. When a black and white is done right, it carries it’s expression very well, almost as though it has a life of its own. I think this shot is done in just such a way! Looks like this would work well symmetrically. I see you take advantage of the upward angle again. Very effective!
