Crouching Lizard Hungry Dragon

DPP_1775

There is no escaping the mascot of Park Guell while one is in Barcelona. The mosaic lizard/ dragon is *everywhere* – photos, postcards, magnets, ashtrays, t-shirts, caps, mugs, umbrellas, keychains – you name it. Seeing it in the flesh (well, stone) however, is an out-of-body experience. As if completing a holy pilgrimage, a never-ending gaggle of humanity jostle to pose with it. Here, the lizard/ dragon looks perfectly willing to salivate after more devotees.
