An almost-dusk shot of the eternal city, where my wife and I honeymooned (is that a word?). With its magnificent monuments, historic ruins, atmospheric back alleys and shoebox cafes, Rome will always have a special place in my heart.

Fans of Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away will know this brilliant score by Joe Hisaishi. It plays in my head every time I’m on a road trip and the vibrant blues and greens inundate my senses.
