2012 in Singapore!

A very happy new year to everyone. Live long and prosper!

Edit: I should probably point out some landmarks. The three-columned structure behind the fireworks is the Marina Bay Sands hotel. The lotus-shaped structure is the ArtScience Museum, and the surrounding waves are the Marina Bay Shoppes. The whole complex is collectively known as the Marina Bay Sands, and is notable for containing one of the two casinos in Singapore. The structure in the foreground is the Esplanade Theater. In its free time, it alternates looking like a durian or the eyes of a giant fly. To the right of the image lies the edge of Shenton Way, the financial district of Singapore. The sole colonial building is the Fullerton Hotel.
