The Gap, Again

Another look at the Gap in Watsons Bay, this time with a close-up on the craggy rocks. Note the people at the top right hand corner, and you’ll get an idea of the scale of this beautiful stretch of ocean cliff.

Sadly, this place has earned some notoriety as a hotspot for suicides. Cameras and counseling phone booths can be found in the vicinity. Fences are also erected along the edges of the cliffs.

Amidst the beauty, it’s a sobering reminder of the fragility of the human life.
