Leura Cascades I

And here you have it – the raison d’être of the [Echo Point to Leura Cascades] walk. At the end of the walk is a compact but oh-so lush waterfall that astounds you with its intimacy. The cool green canopy, the soft roar of falling water, the gentle rustle of leaves, it’s no wonder that this is one of the most-photographed spots in Blue Mountains. While an explorer bus stop conveniently stops right outside the area, this waterfall is a good 45 to 60-minute walk from Leura train station itself, and is by no means the end of the highlighted walk if you have no transport waiting in the wings.

Technical details of the shot to follow tomorrow.
