The Cloud Forest

After the riot of flowers in the Flower Dome, the Cloud Forest appears tame in comparison at first glance. This conservatory stands 35 meters tall and is dominated by a tall man-made “mountain” and its waterfall. The mountain showcases tropical plants that normally grow at alpine regions from 1000 to 3000 meters above sea level, where conditions are generally cool and moist.

Visitors to the Cloud Forest ascend the mountain in a lift, then slowly meander down a series of ramps, wandering through the nine zones of the conservatory as they do so.
