The Florence Dome (Pt 1)

The imposing duomo in Florence is impossible to miss – you catch sight of it even as you wander along the alleys and streets of Florence. Making the climb up to the top is one of the best things to do in this city. You get a breath taking view of Florence in all its red-roofed glory. It was pretty grey the day I was there, and I found black and white shots to work better. In the second picture, by including the lady in the frame, I hoped to impart the vastness of the landscape when you are peering down atop the dome.
