A second set of photos shot on the Florence duomo. The color photos show the quaint red-tiled roofs that I love so much. It was however, extremely difficult to get a proper exposure with the glaring skies that day. I think part of the difficulty also stemmed from how big the dome was- I couldn’t get it in its entirety without also including a large swath of overexposed skies, which is what you see in the first image. I find the second shot interesting for its details and layers, and the very striking blue dome amidst a sea of red.
