Pisa Baptistry, Redux

I loved the vibrant blues and greens when I visited Pisa- made the scenery look like something out of a Dulux commercial. Like its more famous sibling, the Pisa Baptistry is also built on unstable sand, and is leaning slightly at an angle.

The interior of the Baptistry, not shown here, is in stark contrast to the exterior. It is large and cavernous, and practically spartan. Not too difficult to understand why people camp out on the inviting grass, when there’s good shelter just steps away.
