The Twilight Watch

I’ve mentioned the observatory atop Marina Bay Sands a few times – here you see part of the lookout, where you can perch sixty stories above ground to get a bird’s eye view of Singapore’s downtown. This particular photo uses exposure fusion, where I join a single picture exposed at different levels, to reach an end result that is more evenly balanced. To my eye, this looks more natural than HDR, if that’s the effect you are aiming for.

  1. wonder whether i could ever be allowed to write a poem of such a site!! that would be more than an adventure for someone like me. It doesn’t mean that i don’t appreciate Kenya…just…
