The Toledo Cathedral

Constructed in the 13th-century, The Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo is considered to be the grandest Gothic cathedral in Spain, and one of the greatest in the world. Measuring 120 meters by 60 meters, the Cathedral took over 2 centuries in the making. Because it is packed quite tightly with surrounding buildings, it is not easy to appreciate its scale and majesty up close. If you have more than a day to spare, you could get a better view from a higher vantage point somewhere in the old city.
