Giraldillo of the Winds

A copy of the statue, Giraldillo, which stands atop the bell-tower Giralda. This copy is found at Puerta de San Cristoba, from where we entered the cathedral. A weather vane by function, Giraldillo is also said to represent Faith, perhaps by virtue of her constant presence high above the city.
