Peter of Castile’s Palace

Seville’s Islamic past can be experienced in the Seville Alcázar, a royal palace which used to be a Moorish fort. Unlike its more illustrious cousin the Alhambra, the Seville Alcázar is much more compact and an easier visit. Visitors enter via the Peter of Castile’s Palace, which has a elaborately-decorated and yet subtle facade.
