Patio de las Doncellas II

Patio de las Doncellas, or the Courtyard of the Maidens, derives its name from the tale where the Muslims demanded a hundred virgins a year from the Castile kingdoms. The colorful legend is most probably propaganda to spur the Christian kingdoms in retaking this part of Spain. A more faithful rendition than the last one.
