Singapore’s very own UNESCO World Heritage Site! While I post more frequently on Gardens By The Bay, the Singapore Botanic Garden has been the granddaddy of all gardens, with roots from way back in the the 1800s. With a sprawling 74 hectare ground in the heart of downtown Singapore, this garden is a veritable treasure trove of flora, especially orchids. My favorite spot in the garden is the picturesque Bandstand, a colonial-looking gazebo surrounded by beautiful Yellow Rain Trees. Basically the closest you can get to fall colors in perennially tropical Singapore.
