Coop’s Shot Tower

The Melbourne Central structure cleverly incorporates the historic Coop’s Shot Tower by means of a conical glass dome. The Coop’s Shot Tower was used to produce lead shot balls in the 19th century, and is one of only few heritage shot towers remaining in Australia. While it’s located in a very crowded shopping mall, there’s simply no missing this glorious sight once you step out onto the concourse.
