Wild Dance

DPP_1728.2

and so
she moves,
shimmering
through
a suddenly
frozen
sea.
a backward toss
of glistening
hair,
liquid fire
under the
the July sun,
a peripheral,
wayward
sparkle.
and then
a side-way
glance,
a skip, a sway,
then half-turn
and crinkling eyes,
the edges of
a billowing
summer dress.
and forever so
she remains,
distant face
in countless
crowds,
of countless
worlds,
susurrus of a
memory,
an iridescent
wild dance.
